    Yeah still got it. It is in it's 3 incarnation now which is roughly whats in the pic. Totally rebuilt the motor last winter and gave her some more OOooommph. Open high level pipes exagerate the experiance and make her really spin up nicely. she lives out here near the nurburgring most of the time, and yes she has done the obligatory lap. On the lookout for an Alloy tank at a sensible price over winter as the GF ones just melt with the Ethanol in the fuel nowadays.

    Why not seal a GF one with POR-15 ?

    the GF tanks should be made out of vinylester/DCPD resins not the cheap kit stuff. The vinylester/DCPD resins with stand fuel no issue, I ran my tank on a guzzi for 5yrs before I sold it and that was after i split it and fixed it from hitting a kangaroo.
    Use vinylester/DCPD resin you can't go wrong

    Because i want an Ally tank. Had 2 GF ones so time to do it right, wish i had never got rid of the portapack that i used to own otherwise i would have had a go at making my own.

    Now this is nice. Old looks/styling but up to date spec. Very nice. I like the look of the old school bikes but I couldn't ride them tbh.
