    New bike!

Picked up the 848 Streetfighter today after swapping in the 848 Evo Corse. Only done about 30 miles but loving it so far. All the 848 engine power and Monster type riding position. Almost like a larger Monster I guess.....

Nice one Ozz, personally I think its more of a monster than the current monsters in that its a naked super bike just like the early monsters and oh do I regret ducati calling it a streetfighter when it should have been some type of super monster because the muppets at insurance companies think you've got some kind of crashed super bike when it comes to getting a quote.

If you look on the Spark exhaust web-site theres a lovely single can that I'd fit if I was starting to mod an SF, anyway best of luck with the new bike i'm certain you'll love it.

Did another 30 odd miles last night and getting used to the ride and starting to love it.

Couple of mods will be happening though:

It has heated grips on which have no give at all so progrips have been ordered.

Have emailed about a passenger seat cover cowl in the yellow.

Pipes will be changed at some point but that's obviously a pretty big expense. Arrows need to have the cats so you are looking at £800. Mivv ones you need to have a remap if you want to take the baffles out so their £400 cost would suddenly be a fair bit more...

You dont need the cats Ozz . You should have had the cowl as they come with the bike.

Heated grips are good but you need to get the membranes that go under the original grips

    Cheers matey.

So it wouldn't need a remap of the ECU?

Didnt get a seat cowl only the passenger seat. Have got one coming via Martin at Ducati Glasgow though now.....

Heated grips deffo going as just no give at all....
